Gopalganj: The government has announced an extension of the curfew in Gopalganj district, with a three-hour break set to begin from tomorrow. The curfew will remain in effect until 11 am, after which it will be temporarily lifted for a short period before being reimposed.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Home Ministry released a statement detailing that the curfew will be lifted from 11 am to 2 pm tomorrow, and will then be reinstated from 2 pm onwards until further notice. This decision follows the initial imposition of the curfew, which was enforced from 8 pm on Wednesday night and was scheduled to last until 6 pm today.
The authorities have not provided a specific timeline for when the curfew might be completely lifted, indicating that it will remain in place until additional directives are issued. The situation in Gopalganj continues to be closely monitored by government officials.
