Dhaka: Sunamganj District Sports Association (DSA), Kushtia, Bandarban, Bogura, Narail, Dhaka and Chpainawabganj DSAs, along with Bangladesh Police Handball Club, emerged victorious in their respective second round matches of the 35th National Men’s Handball Championship held today at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Sunamganj DSA secured a win against Bogura DSA with a score of 26-23, despite trailing the first half 12-9. Kushtia DSA dominated their match, defeating Narail DSA 47-14 after leading the first half 18-4. Bandarban DSA overcame Panchagarh DSA with a 34-24 win, maintaining a first half lead of 16-14.
Bogura DSA overpowered Bagerhat DSA 26-18, having led the first half 14-11. Narail DSA managed a close victory against Dinajpur DSA, finishing 28-26 after a first half lead of 16-11. Dhaka DSA defeated Narayanganj DSA 36-15, with a first half score of 16-7. Chpainawabganj DSA beat Panchagarh DSA 32-27, overcoming a first half deficit o
f 13-10. Bangladesh Police Handball Club decisively won against Narayanganj DSA 39-9, dominating the first half 14-5.
