Dhaka: Professor Santiago Fernandez Mosquera, the Inditex Chair of Spanish Language and Culture from Spain, paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan at the latter’s office. He was accompanied by Spanish Visiting Professor at DU, Maria Amparo Porta Rivas, and Professor Maria Josefa Martinez Lopez.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of strengthening joint collaborative academic, research, and cultural exchange programs between the University of Dhaka and various universities in Spain. Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan expressed his gratitude to the Spanish Inditex Chair for his visit to Dhaka University and his interest in enhancing joint collaborative academic and research activities with DU.
