New York:State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj emphasized the crucial role of skilled and capable human resources in sustainable development. He highlighted the importance of linking education with employment, entrepreneurship, and economic growth during a discussion titled 'From Classroom to Economy', organized by the Bangladesh Consulate General in New York.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the event was moderated by Consul General Muhammad Mozammel Haque and included government policymakers, university representatives, employers, and Bangladeshi expatriate professionals based in New York.
Bobby Hajjaj addressed Bangladeshi students and professionals from various US universities, stressing that education must extend beyond academic degrees to prepare youth for real-world challenges and future job market demands. He emphasized the need for an integrated approach from education to skill development, skill to employment, and employment to economic productivity.
