Six Bangladeshi Kabaddi Players Receive Payments for Participation in Nepal League

Dhaka: Six Bangladeshi kabaddi players, who took part in the franchise kabaddi league held in Nepal, received their payments today. Each player was awarded the equivalent of $1,000 for their participation in the event. The Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation (BKF) facilitated the disbursement of the funds received from Nepal to the players.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the six players who represented Bangladesh in the Nepal Kabaddi League are Monirul Chowdhury, Yasin Arafat, Mizanur Rahman, Shah Mohammad Shahan, Sabuj Mia, and Roman Hossain. BKF’s general secretary, SM Newaz Sohag, expressed that the significance of their participation extends beyond the monetary gain, emphasizing the opportunities that the league has created for the players.



The franchise kabaddi league, which featured six teams, took place in Nepal in January. The involvement of Bangladeshi players is seen as a positive step towards enhancing their exposure and experience on an international platform.
