Patuakhali: Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Director General Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud has emphasized the need for the force's personnel to demonstrate the utmost professionalism in ensuring that the forthcoming 13th parliament election is conducted in a fair, peaceful, and credible manner. He urged personnel to carry out their duties with maximum professionalism, discipline, and nationalism to achieve this goal.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Major General Mahmud made these remarks during an inspection of the Sanjibon Scheme of the force at Chandupara area in Patuakhali district. He emphasized the importance of enhancing the professional excellence of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP members, stating that every member must become more efficient and responsible through proper training, patriotism, and honesty.
During his visit, the Ansar and VDP chief interacted with 64 entrepreneurs from two platoons involved in the project and provided necessary directions to instill dynamism and accountability in the Sanjibini project's activities. He highlighted that the project aids its members in becoming self-reliant, socio-economically improved, and professionally efficient.
Major General Mahmud further stated that the scheme is set to significantly contribute to meeting the basic needs of its members and advancing the socio-economic conditions of marginalized communities by ensuring their participation in productive activities. Officers and employees of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP, including Barishal Range Ranger Commander Md Abdus Samad, were present during the visit.
