Dhaka:Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan is set to team up once again with director Himel Ashraf for a new film titled 'Mohabbat', produced by Arshad Adnan.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the official announcement for 'Mohabbat' was made on Thursday evening, with plans set for its release during Eid-ul-Azha in 2027. The announcement was shared on Facebook by Himel Ashraf, Arshad Adnan, and Shakib Khan, who posted, "Sometimes love comes with a price, a promise and a struggle. Introducing Mohabbat, the beginning of a new story and a new journey. See you next Qurbani Eid!"
The announcement quickly gained traction on social media. Within about an hour of the poster's release, both 'Mohabbat' and Shakib Khan began trending. Shakib Khan's Facebook post amassed over 50,000 reactions, nearly 4,000 comments, and around 1,000 shares.
This film marks the third collaboration between Shakib Khan and the director-producer duo, following their previous works on 'Priyotoma' and 'Rajkumar'. While the details of the story, co-stars, and shooting schedule have not yet been disclosed, there is speculation that a foreign actress might star opposite Shakib Khan in 'Mohabbat'.
