Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is scheduled to fly to USA in the early hours of Friday to join his family.
He will leave Dhaka on a Qatar Airways flight at 3:45am.
Shakib returned from USA on Sept 2 after more than five months for individual practice sessions at BKSP ahead of Bangladesh’s proposed three-match Test series against Sri Lanka.
He was due to make his cricketing comeback on Oct 29 after a one-year ban imposed by the ICC.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hassan had said that the board is expecting him to make his comeback during the Sri Lanka tour.
Shakib had started individual practice at BKSP from Sept 5 under the guidelines and plans of his cricket advisers Nazmul Abedin Fahim and Mohammad Salahuddin and continued it for 25 days, without using any BCB facilities.
Later, Shakib decided to return to USA to join his family as the Bangladesh Cricket team cancelled their proposed tour to Sri Lanka due to quarantine complications.
Bangladesh have no international match at the moment. So, the BCB is going ahead with domestic games.
All sports activities in Bangladesh remained halted since the coronavirus outbreak in March.
Shakib left for the USA in March to be with his wife who was then expecting a baby. The couple welcomed their second daughter in April.
The 33-year-old superstar has been serving a two-year ban, with one year suspended, due to failing to report a corrupt approach.
