Dhaka: A seminar titled 'Allama Iqbal's State Thought' is scheduled to take place at RC Majumdar Hall of Dhaka University (DU) at 3:30 pm. Allama Iqbal Sangsad is organizing the event to mark the death anniversary of the esteemed poet Allama Iqbal.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the seminar will feature a lineup of distinguished speakers including Professor Dr. Anisuzzaman, former vice chancellor of Patuakhali Science and Technology University, and Prof Dr. Abdul Latif Masum, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh Open University. Other notable participants set to attend as discussants are Dr. Dil Rowshan Zinnat Ara Nazneen, a member of the Board of Directors of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), editor of Dainik Naya Diganta Alamgir Mohiuddin, journalist Mustafa Kamal Majumder, and poet Mosharraf Hossain Khan.
Allama Iqbal is widely regarded as the National Poet of Pakistan. His legacy as a poet, philosopher, lawyer, and scholar has left a lasting impact on Urdu and Persian literature, making him a revered figure in literary circles.
