Scientific Seminar Explores Advances in Control Systems at Rajshahi University

Rajshahi:A scientific seminar titled 'Reduced-Order Modeling for Modern Control Systems: Advances, Opportunities and Challenges' was conducted today at Rajshahi University (RU).

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Department of Mathematics organized the event at the Faculty of Engineering Gallery, supported by the Faculty of Science. The seminar featured Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Professor Mamunur Rashid as the chief guest, with Professor Md. Zulfikar Ali and former Dean of the Faculty of Science Professor Nasima Akhtar attending as special guests.

Professor Asabul Haque, Chairman of the Department of Mathematics, chaired the seminar, while Professor Shahadat Hossain from the Department of Mathematics and Physics at North South University delivered the keynote paper.

During the inauguration, Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Mamunur Rashid emphasized the importance of physics and mathematics as foundational pillars of modern science, urging educators to focus on these subjects within science education.

The seminar attracted over 100 participants, including teachers, researchers, and students from the Faculties of Science and Engineering.
