Dhaka: Regular judicial proceedings in the Supreme Court (SC) will resume tomorrow following the end of a long vacation that began on March 15. The resumption marks the return to normal operations for the country’s highest judicial body, which had paused activities for an extended period.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Appellate Division is set to start its regular proceedings at 9:30 am, while the High Court Division will commence at 10:30 am. Chief Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury has already constituted 63 benches in the High Court Division to handle the caseload efficiently. This includes 29 single-judge benches and 34 division benches, ensuring a structured approach to addressing legal matters promptly.
