DHAKA, April 3, 2017 (BSS) - Attorney General Mahbubey Alam today said the apex court is likely to hear the plea to review the sentence of imprisonment till natural death for war crimes-convict Delwar Hossain Sayedee, on April 6.
"Today the matter came on the Appellate Division cause list. I am hoping the apex court on April 6 will hear both the review pleas, one filed by Sayedee and another filed by the state," the attorney general said.
Referring the case, which came on the cause list as 147th matter, the chief law officer of the state said the time will give them opportunity to take better preparation for the hearing.
