Sarjis Alam’s Visit to Debiganj Bazar Focuses on Commodity Prices.

Debiganj: Sarjis Alam, a key coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement, today toured various markets in Debiganj Bazar under Debiganj upazila in Panchagarh district. During his visit, he interacted with vendors and customers, focusing on the pricing of essential commodities. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Sarjis Alam, who also serves as the General Secretary of the July Shaheed Smriti Foundation, paid visits to the fish market, vegetable markets, rice market, and other shops. He inquired about the prices of essential goods and emphasized that the current government is actively working to maintain food and commodity prices at a level affordable for the general population. Sarjis traveled from Dhaka to Debiganj upazila, spending a few hours in the area before heading to his home in Atwari. He described his visit as a short tour, expressing admiration for Debiganj and his intent to return for a longer stay. Student movement coordinator Ohasis and other students accompanied him during t he visit.
