Dhaka:Uber has appointed S M Jamshed Hasan as the Country Head for Uber Bangladesh. In his new position, Jamshed will oversee the company's business and operations in Bangladesh as it seeks to expand its mobility services and enhance its presence in the nation.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Jamshed brings over 15 years of experience in sales, business development, strategic partnerships, and commercial leadership. His expertise spans across fintech, logistics, and insurance sectors.
Akanksha Singh, Head of International Markets for Uber India and South Asia, expressed her enthusiasm in welcoming Jamshed to the company. She highlighted his extensive experience and understanding of business growth, partnerships, and commercial strategy as valuable assets for Uber's continued expansion in Bangladesh.
