Berestyn: A Russian missile attack killed a teenage girl in the eastern Ukrainian city of Berestyn, the Kharkiv regional governor said Tuesday. “A 17-year-old girl who was seriously wounded in the missile attack on the city of Berestyn has died in hospital,” Governor Oleg Synegubov posted on Telegram, adding that at least nine people were also wounded.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the attack underscores the continuing violence in the region as tensions between Russia and Ukraine remain high. The incident has drawn attention to the ongoing humanitarian impact of the conflict, particularly on vulnerable populations such as children and teenagers.

Local authorities are reportedly providing assistance to those affected by the attack, and investigations are ongoing to assess the full extent of the damage. The international community has expressed concern over the escalation in hostilities and the rising toll on civilian life.

Efforts to de-escalate the situation continue, but incidents like the mis
sile strike in Berestyn highlight the challenges in achieving a peaceful resolution. The Kharkiv regional administration is urging residents to remain vigilant and adhere to safety protocols as the conflict persists.
