Rajshahi: Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP), in support of its Cyber Crime Unit, has recovered 145 more stolen mobile phones from different areas of the metropolis. RMP authorities handed over the recovered phones to their respective owners at its headquarters conference hall today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, RMP Commissioner Muhammad Abu Sufiyan addressed the event, stating that the police are working relentlessly for the welfare of the people. He highlighted that the Cyber Crime Unit has achieved significant success and earned the trust of the public by combating cyber crimes in the metropolis.
Commissioner Abu Sufiyan also urged the public to remain cautious when purchasing lost mobile phones, emphasizing the importance of vigilance. He expressed his gratitude to those who extended cooperation for recovering the mobile phones.
Earlier, in three separate phases, the RMP authorities handed over 236 recovered mobile phones to their owners.
