Dhaka: The government has initiated a directive for educational institutions to organize the July Uprising Programmes-2025. This decision aims to ensure that all educational institutions actively participate in commemorating the significant historical event.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a press release has outlined the instructions for educational institutions to conduct these programmes. The minutes from the ‘July Implementation Committee Meeting,’ held on July 7, have been distributed to all educational institutions. The institutions have been instructed to adhere to the parts relevant to them under the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE).
This initiative was detailed in a letter signed by the Assistant Director of DSHE, Md Khalid Hossain. The letter highlighted that a national committee, led by the Chief Adviser, has been established to oversee the observation of the July Uprising days. Consequently, departments or educational institutions under the Ministry of Education are to organize the July Uprising programmes according to the guidelines pertinent to their operations.
