Dhaka: Additional Secretary of the Power and Energy Ministry M Rezanur Rahman has joined as the Chairman of Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation (Petrobangla) Thursday, said an official release today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Rezanur Rahman is an officer of the 17th batch of the BCS (Administration) cadre and has served in various capacities at the field level, local government, ministry of health, Energy Regulatory Commission, and Anti-Corruption Commission.
Rezanur Rahman graduated from the Mechanical Engineering department of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and holds a professional master’s degree from ITC Netherlands.
