A review meeting was held at British Embassy in Kathmandu on the works and achievements in the sector of economic and social development in Nepal, which were carried out with the support of Britain and INGOs in Nepal.
During the meeting organized by the Nepal-Britain non-governmental organizations’ network, it was concluded that even the non-governmental organizations had effective role on social change in Nepal.
The meeting attended by the NGOs, campaigners and experts reviewed various issues including health, education and climate change impacts in Nepal.
During the event, British Ambassador to Nepal, Rob Fenn, praised the positive changes brought forth in both countries at the citizen’s level. He assured that the UK would continue its cooperation and support to Nepal’s development endeavours.
