Noakhali: A refrigerator mechanic died from electrocution yesterday in Charkazi Mokhles village under Charwapda union of the district. The deceased was identified as Imam Hossain, 34, son of Md. Borhan Hossain of Charjubli union in Noakhali.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Imam Hossain went to repair a refrigerator at Atakpalia Bazar, where he came into direct contact with a live wire and died on the spot. Charjabbar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Shahin Mia confirmed the incident and mentioned that further legal procedures will be taken after talking to the victim’s family.
