Dhaka: The government today appointed Bangladesh Navy’s Rear Admiral Md Moinul Hasan as the Director General (DG) of the Bangladesh Coast Guard. The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification confirming this appointment and announced that the current DG, Rear Admiral Md Ziaul Hoque, has been reassigned to the Armed Forces Division.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the notification specified that the decision was made in the public interest and would be effective immediately. This administrative change marks a significant shift within the Bangladesh Coast Guard leadership, aiming to enhance its operational capabilities and strategic direction under the new leadership.
