Dhaka: A meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) was held today with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman in the chair. The meeting took place at the Planning Commission in the city’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area this morning, as reported by Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary Md Suzauddhowla (Sujon Mahmud).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a total of 11 projects were placed before the meeting for approval. The details of these projects were not disclosed, but they were reviewed during the session chaired by the Prime Minister. The ECNEC is responsible for approving significant economic projects and ensuring they align with national priorities.
