Ready to Strengthen Cooperation with All Political Parties in Bangladesh: Ambassador Yao

Dhaka: Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen on Thursday expressed China’s readiness to enhance cooperation with all political parties in Bangladesh. This announcement came during a meeting with members of the newly established Sub-Committee for International Relations of the National Citizen Party (NCP) at the Chinese Embassy in the capital.



According to United News of Bangladesh, the meeting served as a platform for both sides to discuss Bangladesh-China relations, inter-party exchanges, and youth cooperation, among other shared interests. The Chinese Embassy in Dhaka reported that Ambassador Yao took the opportunity to congratulate the NCP on the formation of its Sub-Committee for International Relations, indicating a positive outlook towards future collaborations.



Ambassador Yao expressed optimism that the NCP’s new sub-committee would contribute constructively to fostering friendly exchanges between the two nations and their respective political parties. Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan, the NCP Spokesperson and Chairman of the Sub-Committee, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the party’s willingness to work alongside China to deepen friendly relations and cooperation, particularly among the younger generations of both countries.



The meeting placed a strong focus on Bangladesh-China bilateral relations, regional developments, and areas of mutual interest. It underscored the importance of sustained diplomatic engagement, mutual respect, and cooperative efforts for ensuring regional stability and shared development.



The NCP delegation at the meeting included International Cell In Charge Alauddin Mohammad, East Asia Desk Lead Mahbub Alam, EU Desk Lead Navid Nowraz Shah, and Joint Chief Coordinator Monjila Jhuma.
