Rajshahi: Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) has inaugurated a jogging track at its central zoo and park for public use. The facility was officially opened by Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner and RCC Administrator, Dr. Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir, who served as the chief guest at the event. Dr. Kabir emphasized the significant benefits that the citizens will derive from the new facility. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the jogging track is designed to cater to the public's need for physical activity, providing opportunities for walking in the morning and afternoon. Additionally, machines have been installed to check blood pressure, weight, and blood sugar, offering added health services to visitors. Dr. Humayun Kabir highlighted that these initiatives are part of a broader effort to enhance health services within the community. The inauguration event was attended by RCC Secretary Mobarak Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mohinul Hassam, RCC Chief Health Officer Dr. AFM Anjuman Ara Begum, and V eterinary Surgeon Dr. Farhad Uddin, reflecting the collaborative effort in promoting public health and wellness through the new jogging track.
