Rajshahi:Mahfuzur Rahman Riton, the Administrator of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC), visited the Hazrat Shah Makhdum (R.A.) Qariana, Hafezia Madrasa Lillah Boarding and Orphanage in the city. His visit followed the offering of Jumu'ah prayers earlier in the day.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during his visit, Administrator Riton toured various activities of the madrasa and orphanage and engaged in discussions with the concerned personnel. The institution's representatives sought cooperation from the RCC Administrator for the overall development of the facility.
In response, Administrator Riton assured the madrasa and orphanage of the necessary support for their development. Earlier in the day, he participated in Jumu'ah prayers at the Dashpukur Baitul Falah Jame Mosque located in Ward No. 3.
Before the prayers, Administrator Riton delivered a speech urging city residents to cooperate in maintaining a clean environment and in efforts to prevent dengue. Present during the occasion were Mosque Management Committee President Md. Suman, Khatib Maulana Rabiul Islam, Treasurer Yasin Ali, Rajshahi Metropolitan Jubo Dal Convener Md. Shariful Islam Jony, and other local leaders.
