Rangpur DCA Launches Four-Day Special Service Program

Rangpur: The Rangpur Divisional Controller of Accounts (DCA) Office today initiated a four-day special service program, aiming to deliver non-discriminatory services to citizens with a self-motivated commitment. The launch marks the 52nd founding anniversary of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of Bangladesh.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Rangpur DCA Mohammad Shahjahan inaugurated the program at a function held at his office premises. The event was attended by DCA officials Md Asadul Islam, Badhon Kumar Sheel, and other office employees. The special service program, which will continue until May 15, encompasses a range of services including pre-audit bill settlement, salary determination, pension case settlement, and various other pension-related services.



Former Rangpur Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Ravi Shankar Mondal, a participant in the program, expressed his satisfaction with the services provided. He noted the prompt attention and initiative taken for his pension-related work. Similarly, retired army officer Md Azizul Islam praised the efficiency of the service, highlighting the swift completion of his life verification work.



Rangpur DCA Mohammad Shahjahan emphasized the office’s commitment to providing services aligned with the Citizen Charter. He stated that the special service program is designed to enhance service delivery through immediate one-stop services, setting a standard for consistent service throughout the year.
