Rajshahi: A daylong event focused on showcasing the best innovative initiatives was held at Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB). Additional Secretary of the Financial Institution Division of the Ministry of Finance and Chief Innovation Officer Ahsan Habib, along with Joint Secretary Farida Yeasmin, attended the event as chief and special guests, respectively. The event was chaired by RAKUB Managing Director Wahida Begum.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event highlighted six innovative initiatives, with one being recognized as the best. RAKUB achieved the top position in the specialized bank category for implementing e-governance and innovative work plans during the 2023-2024 financial year.
During his speech at the event, Ahsan Habib emphasized the importance of simplifying the service-delivery process to be more people-oriented through innovative initiatives. He also stressed the need for adopting timely measures through digitalization, ensuring that clients receive banking services in a cost-effective manner and within the shortest possible time.
