Rajshahi Recruits Pakistan Duo to Bolster Squad for BPL

Rajshahi: The Rajshahi Warriors have bolstered their squad for the 12th Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) by roping in Pakistan duo Shahibzada Farhan and Mohammad Nawaz.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the two Pakistan cricketers are considered valuable assets in the T20 format. Farhan, a top-order batter, is known for his aggressive stroke play. He has amassed 834 runs in 34 T20I matches at a strike rate of 129, hitting seven half-centuries along the way. This will be the right-hand batter's maiden appearance in the BPL.

Nawaz, an all-rounder, is a seasoned campaigner who has proved his worth repeatedly in domestic T20 tournaments around the world. The left-handed batter, who is also a dynamic slow left-arm orthodox spinner, has already featured in more than 85 T20Is, scoring 839 runs at a strike rate of 135.98 while also bagging 83 wickets at an economy rate of 7.21. He previously represented the Khulna Titans in the BPL.
