Rain/Thunder Showers Predicted in Multiple Regions of Bangladesh

Dhaka: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast that rain or thunder showers are likely to occur in various regions across the country, starting at 9:00 am today.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a weather bulletin issued by BMD this morning indicated that light to moderate rain or thundershowers are expected at many locations within the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, and Sylhet divisions. The forecast further suggests that certain areas in the Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions might experience similar weather patterns, with the possibility of moderately heavy to heavy rainfall in parts of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, and Sylhet divisions.

The bulletin also mentioned a slight drop in both day and night temperatures throughout the country. On Friday, Bandarban recorded the highest temperature at 35.6 degrees Celsius, whereas the lowest temperature recorded today was 22.7 degrees Celsius in Tetulia. In Dhaka, the sun is scheduled to set at 5:19 pm today and
rise at 6:05 am tomorrow.
