Dhaka: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department today forecasted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds across the country for the next 24 hours starting from 9 am.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Met office bulletin indicated that light to moderate rain or thundershowers, along with temporary gusty winds, are expected to occur at most locations within the Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions. Many areas in the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions are also likely to experience similar weather conditions, with moderately heavy to very heavy rainfall anticipated in some parts of Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions.
The bulletin further noted that both day and night temperatures may experience a slight drop throughout the country. On Wednesday, the highest temperature was recorded at 35 degrees Celsius in Nikli, Kishoreganj, while the minimum temperature for today was 24.8 degrees Celsius in the same location.
In the capital, the sun is set to set at 6:27 pm today and will rise again at 5:37 am tomorrow.
