Rain Expected in Several Divisions of Bangladesh

Dhaka: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted the likelihood of rain in various parts of the country over the next 24 hours starting at 9 am.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds and lightning flashes are expected in a few places over the Sylhet division. Additionally, one or two places in the Mymensingh, Dhaka, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions may also experience similar weather conditions, as stated in a Met office bulletin.



The bulletin further mentioned that the weather is likely to remain mainly dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies in other regions of the country. Meanwhile, a mild heat wave is currently affecting the Khulna division and the districts of Faridpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, and Sirajganj, with expectations for it to persist.



In terms of temperature, both day and night temperatures are anticipated to remain nearly unchanged across the country. Notably, the highest temperature recorded on Monday was 37.5 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi, while today’s minimum temperature stands at 20.1 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat under the Rangpur division.



For those in Dhaka, the sun is set to set at 6.20 pm today and rise at 5.38 am tomorrow.
