Bangladesh Railway (BR) has signed an agreement with non-government organizations-- Development Organisation of the Rural Poor (DORP) and Pathmark Associates Limited-- to implement programme of rehabilitating victims of land acquisition of railways under Dohajari-Cox's Bazar section.
BR general manager and project director Md Mahbubul Haque Bakshi and DORP Chief Executive Officer AHM Noman signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.
BR Director General Md Amzad Hossain, Additional Project Director Md Mafizur Rahman, DORP Chairman Md Azhar Ali Talukdar, Pathmark Associates Limited Senior Adviser Md Nazmul Islam Patwary were present on the occasion.
DORP and Pathmark Associates Limited will jointly implement the rehabilitation programme.
