Dhaka: The Law and Justice Division has prepared an initial draft titled 'Code of Criminal Procedure (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2025' to update the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898. The initial draft has been published on the website of the Law and Justice Division on June 2 for public opinion for finalizing it, an official release said.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, people can send their opinions on the draft by July 7 through email at [email protected] or by post to the address of Senior Assistant Secretary, Justice Section-8, Law and Justice Division, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Bangladesh Secretariat, Dhaka.
