Rajshahi: The Public Administration Reform Commission convened a view-sharing meeting with government and non-government officers and employees at the upazila level in Rajshahi today. This gathering is part of the Commission's ongoing series of meetings held nationwide to collect feedback from the field. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was chaired by Commission Chief Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury, with members Dr. Mukhles Ur Rahman, Dr. Sayeeda Shaheen Sobhan, and Mehedi Hassan in attendance. The meeting took place at the Puthiya Upazila field in Rajshahi district and was also attended by Divisional Commissioner Dr. Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir, Deputy Commissioner Afiya Akhter, and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nur Hossain Nijhar. During the meeting, Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury emphasized the Commission's intention to compile a report incorporating field-level insights. "We came here to gather the opinion of the public in general. We want to present an overall scenario to the government," he stated. Ch owdhury further highlighted the Commission's goal of extracting efficient services from the existing administration. Chowdhury also addressed the issue of political involvement verification by police and NSI under previous regimes, suggesting that such verifications are unnecessary.
