Dhaka: The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a warning regarding the circulation of fake government notifications with forged signatures related to appointments and postings.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a recent notification from the ministry highlighted that a group of fraudsters has been attempting to deceive people by replicating official appointment letters in the name of the public administration ministry. These fraudulent documents include forged signatures of ministry officials and fake reference numbers, raising concerns among the public.
The ministry emphasized that all official orders related to recruitment, posting, or transfer are published only on the ministry's official website and through the Government Employee Management System (GEMS). The public is urged to verify any suspicious documents through these official channels to confirm their authenticity.
Furthermore, the ministry has called upon individuals and institutions to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities they encounter. The public is encouraged to take precautions to avoid falling victim to these fraudulent schemes and to help prevent the spread of such deceitful practices.
