Golapganj: BNP Chairperson’s Adviser Dr Mohammad Enamul Haque Chowdhury has stated that the country’s state system was completely dismantled under the previous fascist regime, necessitating reforms for its rebuilding. “To reform the state machinery, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has formulated a 31-point outline for reforms. Implementing this plan can pave the way for a prosperous Bangladesh in the future,” Dr Enamul said. “People across the country have already shown great interest in this outline. Therefore, our grassroots leaders and activists must carry this 31-point agenda of our guardian to every household.”
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dr Enamul emphasized the need for vigilance to protect the party’s image, highlighting that the BNP is a people-oriented and popular political party that has long faced conspiracies. He urged everyone to remain alert and underscored the importance of organizational discipline by stating, “If anyone commits wrongdoing in the name of the party, strict or
ganizational action will be taken.” He further urged, “Every leader and activist must now go to the field and work unitedly to ensure BNP’s victory in the next election.”
The view-exchange meeting, where Dr Enamul made these remarks, was attended by BNP leaders, activists, and local residents of Wards 8 and 9 under Sadar Union at Karkhana Bazar in Golapganj Upazila. The meeting was presided over by Ward No. 8 BNP President Mallik Mia and conducted by Sylhet Law College Chhatra Dal Joint Secretary Sultan Mahmud.
