Dhaka: Religious Adviser Dr AFM Khalid Hossain has emphasized that the Seerat, or the life and character, of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) serves as an ideal role model for shaping the values and character of today’s youth. “By following his example, young people can attain success across all spheres of life,” he stated during a meeting with eminent Islamic scholar Dr Mizanur Rahman Azhari at the Religious Adviser’s office at the Secretariat here.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dr Khalid highlighted that the life and teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) provide timeless guidance on overcoming obstacles with integrity, patience, and perseverance. He noted that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) exemplified success in every area, including family life, society, leadership, governance, and even in times of conflict.

Dr Khalid further stressed the importance of encouraging youth to study and practice the Seerat to develop leadership and character traits. He described the Prophet (PBUH) as the ultimate role model and asserted, “His philosophy of life is the key to achieving both worldly success and spiritual fulfilment. By following his path, we can earn the satisfaction of the Almighty Allah.”

The discussion also touched on initiatives to promote the study and practice of Seerat among youth globally and addressed broader issues concerning the welfare of Islam and the Muslim Ummah. Additionally, Dr Mizanur Rahman Azhari extended an invitation to Dr Khalid to attend the upcoming Seerat Conference, set to take place at the IDEB Auditorium in the capital’s Kakrail area on September 22.
