New York:Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and his wife, Dr. Zubaida Rahman, attended a dinner hosted by US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump for world leaders at the Lotte New York Palace hotel.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the event was part of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. Heads of state and government from UN member states, along with their spouses, were present at the dinner.
Earlier that day, Prime Minister Rahman and Dr. Zubaida Rahman participated in a breakfast hosted by UN Secretary-General Ant³nio Guterres, also for heads of state and government and their spouses.
Prime Minister Rahman is in New York to attend the UNGA session, where he is scheduled to deliver his first address to the assembly on Thursday.
