Dhaka: The Premier Division Chess League is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, December 3, at the Bangladesh Chess Federation (BCF) hall in Dhaka.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the number draw for the participating teams is slated to take place on Tuesday, December 2, at the same venue. This event marks the official start of the league's activities.
A total of twelve teams will compete in the league, which is organized by the Bangladesh Chess Federation. The teams include reigning champion Titas Club and reigning runner-up Manha's Castle. Other participating teams are Leonine Chess Club, Bangladesh Navy, Sports Bangla, Uttara Central Chess Club, Dipali Memorial Chess Club, Janata Bank Officers Welfare Society, Khelaghar Chess Association, Bangladesh Police Chess Club, E-Soft Arena Chess Club, and Sadharan Bima Corporation Sporting Club.
