Prayer Seeking for Khaleda Zia’s Speedy Recovery Held at Dighalia

Khulna: A doa mahfil was held in Khulna on Sunday seeking the early recovery and good health of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. Dighalia Upazila BNP unit organized the doa mahfil at the Dighalia Union Parishad premises in Dighalia upazila of the district.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Central BNP Information Affairs Secretary and Khulna-4 candidate Azijul Bari Helal attended the doa mahfil as the chief guest. Speaking at the event, Helal emphasized that BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia is widely respected across the country, transcending party affiliations.

Helal remarked that the challenges faced by Khaleda Zia over the years had not diminished her public support. He noted that prayers and messages wishing her recovery were pouring in from across the country and abroad.

He further mentioned that people from Rupsha, Terokhada, Dighalia, and other areas had been offering prayers since 24 November, expressing hope for her speedy recovery. The programme was presided over by Dighalia Upazila BNP President Molla Saifur Rahman Mintu and conducted by Rakib Mallik. District BNP Convenor Moniruzzaman Montu and other local leaders were also present.
