Dhallywood actress Shamsunnahar Smrity, popularly known by her stage name Pori Moni, has been taken to a city hospital on Sunday after an accident.
Confirming the matter on her verified Facebook page, Pori Moni posted a photo of her hand with a cannula in her vein at the Evercare Hospital in the capital.
“An accident,” she wrote in the caption of the image. As she has recently revealed that she is expecting her first child, fans and admirers expressed their curiosity over social media whether or not the accident is related to her pregnancy.
Neither she nor her husband, actor Shariful Islam Raj, revealed the exact nature of the accident.
The celebrity couple recently acted on prominent director Giasuddin Selim’s film “Gunin”. They tied the knot on October 17 last year.
