Dhaka: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali has expressed the hope that Bangladesh police personnel will perform their duties with utmost professionalism to help make the upcoming general election a glaring example at home and abroad.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the DMP Commissioner emphasized the importance of professionalism and impartiality among the police force during a special briefing titled ‘Role of Bangladesh Police force members in the current situation.’ The event took place at the Bangladesh Police Auditorium in the city’s Rajarbagh area.
Referring to the next general election scheduled for February, Commissioner Ali stated that work has already commenced to ensure the elections are conducted in an acceptable and impartial manner. This initiative is in accordance with the instructions provided by the honorable Chief Adviser, aiming to set a benchmark for electoral processes both domestically and internationally.
