Shreedhar Pokharel has been elected the CPN (UML) Makawanpur district committee chairman from the election.
Pokharel, Indraman Syangtan, Lal Bahadur Thapa and Devraj Rimal contested the polls for the district committee chair.
Likewise, Hidam Lama was elected the vice-chairman while Sita Bista made to the post of secretary. Phurba Lama and Arati Pathak were elected the under-secretaries under the male and female category, respectively.
Of the 777 representatives, 765 individuals cast their votes.
