Bogura: Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman today urged his party leaders and activists to assist the local administration and the law enforcement agencies in maintaining peace and order across the country.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Rahman made this appeal while addressing Bogura district BNP leaders and activists at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban. The address followed the oath-taking ceremony of two newly elected members of parliament (MPs) from Bogura-6 and Sherpur-3 constituencies, as reported by Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman.
Stressing the importance of ensuring peace and stability in their respective areas, the Prime Minister stated, “If anyone engages in activities that disrupt peace, it is your responsibility to inform the law enforcement agencies. Don’t take the law in your own hands.” He underscored the necessity of continuing development and maintaining law and order at any cost.
