Dhaka: The government today announced the transfer of Md Mahmudul Hussain Khan, who was serving as secretary attached to the Chief Adviser’s Office, to the Planning Commission as a member (secretary).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the public administration ministry has issued a notification regarding this transfer, which was signed by Deputy Secretary Mohammad Rafiqul Haque. The notification indicates that the order has been issued in the public interest and is to take immediate effect.
In a related move, the government has also promoted Dr. Mohammad Abdul Latif, previously the director general (additional secretary) of the Chief Adviser’s Office, to the rank of grade-1. He has been transferred to the Bangladesh Karmachari Kallyan Board (BKKB) as its director general, as stated in another notification issued by the ministry. This order, similarly, has been made in the public interest and is effective immediately.
