Dr Nomita Halder, Managing
Director of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) and
also a former private secretary to Prime Minister Sheikh
Hasina, visited NGO ‘Unnayan’ and handed over
agricultural materials among farmers in Terokhada,
Khulna on Wednesday.
The materials were distributed among marginal farmers
with an aim to generate more employment and fulfill the
sustainable agricultural development targeted by the
government, said a press release.
She also inspected various programs taken by the NGO,
including village committee, mother and child forum and
talked with officials concerned.
She later attended a consultation meeting with Unnayan
officials at Azogara project office, chaired by Executive
Director of Unnayan SM Mostafizur Rahman.
