Dhaka: The Pay Commission, tasked with developing a fair and effective new pay structure for government and autonomous institutions, is on track to submit its report to the government within the stipulated timeframe. The commission is currently engaged in reviewing and scrutinizing public opinions and recommendations collected through four online questionnaires.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Pay Commission has received input from various associations that have met with the commission to present their opinions and recommendations. The commission is diligently examining these submissions, as highlighted in a PID handout released today.
It is noteworthy that the commission previously collected public opinions online through categorized questionnaires directed at common citizens, government employees, government institutions including autonomous bodies, and associations or societies. This data collection took place from October 1 to 15.
