Bhola: Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) Chairman and BNP-nominated candidate for the Bhola-1 constituency, Barrister Andaleeve Rahman Partho, today pledged to transform Bhola into the southern region's 'Tilottama' city if elected in the upcoming national parliamentary election on February 12. Partho outlined his vision during an election rally held at the East Ilisha Nizamuddin High School ground.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Partho has prioritized the construction of the Bhola-Barishal Bridge, the establishment of a medical college, and the provision of household gas connections in his electoral agenda. He assured voters that if the BNP-led alliance comes to power, there will be visible and sustainable development in the region. He emphasized that BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has a particular focus on Bhola, which will aid in its development.
The rally, chaired by Ilisha union BNP President Md. Siraj Sikder, was attended by central and local leaders of both the BNP and BJP. Partho urged voters to support the 'Garur Gari' (bullock cart) symbol, promising it will ensure peace and progress for the district.
