Rangunia: A man was killed in a wild elephant attack in the hilly area of Falharia village in Padua union of Rangunia upazila in the Chattogram district in the early hours of today. The deceased was identified as Ajit Barua, 48, from B Falharia village in Padua union of Rangunia upazila in the Chattogram district.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, OC Sabbir Mohammad Selim of South Rangunia Police Station confirmed the incident. He stated that locals reported Ajit was mentally unstable.
