Tongi: A man was killed in a road accident in the Panir Tanki area along the Tongi-Kamarpara road of the district. The deceased was identified as Alamgir, 52, a resident of Nazirpur upazila of Pirojpur district.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred when a sand-laden truck and a timber-laden truck collided head-on, resulting in the death of the sand-laden truck’s helper at the scene. Following the incident, police arrested the driver of the truck and seized the vehicle involved in the collision.
